Electrical Designer (Postion is located in Fargo, ND)
Commercial plays a key role in the successful execution of projects, focusing primarily on the production of AutoCAD drawings and/or 3D modeling. Reporting to a Senior Project Manager, the Electrical Designer is responsible for producing quality construction documents and coordinating design work with other engineering disciplines. The successful candidate will also be expected to work within a team environment and collaborate with other project team members.
Specific responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following:
•Lighting layout and design (interior, exterior, landscape, specialty, egress/exit and lighting controls)
•Utilize and create spreadsheets for electrical calculations
•Gather electrical data from clients, architects and other disciplines
•Coordinate work with other external stakeholders (civil and structural engineers, architects, food service companies, etc.)
•Estimate building electrical loads
•Size rooms (electrical, telecommunications equipment rooms and closets)
•Size motor feeders and starters
•Perform voltage drop calculations, short circuit calculations
•Layout electrical equipment ( panel boards, transformers, receptacles)
•Write construction observations, reports, etc.
•Edit master schedules (panel boards, motors, lighting fixtures, lighting controls)
•Effectively estimate hours and scope of work, thereby contributing to the creation of budgets and project schedules
•Five plus (5+) years design experience in a consulting and/or construction capacity.
•Basic understanding of Architectural, Electrical, Civil, and Structural Engineering construction practices.
•Working knowledge of Codes (e.g., NEC, NFPA, IBC, IFC, Energy Code, Life Safety Code, etc.).
•Application of Electrical Engineering Principles (e.g., Ohms’ law, selective coordination, grounding, harmonics, etc.).
•Knowledge of arc fault analysis (SKM Power Tool and Windows).
•Experience in the design of Low Voltage Systems (security, nurse call, telephone/data, paging, CCTV, MATV, other A/V) is preferred but not required.
•Also desired, but not essential, is design experience with medium voltage systems.
Seeking an Architectural/Structural Drafter skilled with the use of AutoCAD. Needs ot have experience creating shop drawings for precast concrete items.
Position is located on the eastern edge of the Minneapolis/St. Paul metro area.
AutoCAD experience is required.
Seeking a Welder to provide welding and fabrication. Applicant should have a 2 yr tech degree in welding, fluid power or machining (or equivalent exp); min 3 years welding experience. Applicant should also have exp working with hand and shop tools, reading and applying assembly drawings, high degree of math and problem solving skills, able to work independently, manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. Applicant must also have excl interpersonal skills, be PC proficient, able to problem solve, manage multiple priorities, & communicate via the computer & telephone. This work will be performed in a clean, climate controlled environment.
looking to add another Drafter. Mechanical, Structural, Conveying Systems, AutoCAD.
Start on contract. The more experienced the better. They are located in Big Lake.
Assembly / Production Technician (Robotics/Automation/Motion Control)
Assembly Technician to assist in assembling products and control panels per specs/drawings and work instructions. Experience in reading drawings/specs, familiar with electrical, pneumatic, electromechanical and mechanical components. (For the right candidate, training will be provided).
Must be attentive to detail, able to meet deadlines, able to use shop/hand tools, be PC proficient, lift 75 lbs, navigate a shop/warehouse environment, and have excellent interpersonal skills.
