Creates and maintains construction documents and sales collaterals for the Division
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Create and maintain construction documents within compliance of the International Residential Building Code
Create and maintain sales collaterals to be distributed to Sales Agents
Keep an excellent record of all changes to construction documents in a revision log
Responsible for new design, customer upgrades and daily design changes
Assist other departments with AutoCAD utilities and applications
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Education and/or Experience
Associate’s degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; one to two years experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Excellent communication, organizational and multi-tasking skills. Strong knowledge of residential design and construction. Must be proficient in AutoCAD with strong drafting skills.

SolidWorks Drafter / Designer
Seeking experience SolidWorks user to design and create shop drawing for large agricultural support equipment. Knowledge in structural steel or steel detailing preferred.
Custom airport support vehicles and truck accessories. Large structural weldments.
The Project Architectural Designer will participate in all aspects of client development, schematic design, and design development. As a member of the project team, they will prepare complete and comprehensive architectural construction drawings and specifications and coordinate the documents with project consultants and sub-contractors. Primary Responsibilities:
Arrange programming and preliminary schematic design to set the direction of the project during the design stage to meet client expectations
Participate in design phase activities by providing expertise in detail development
Organize and prepare all construction drawings and specifications
Attend and document meetings with clients, consultants, contractors and vendors as required from initial meeting throughout project phases
Provide local city ordinance and code research
Conduct existing conditions surveys and prepare architectural base plans, sections, elevations and details as appropriate to document relevant conditions
Review applicable building codes and the Americans with Disabilities Act and develop a list of criteria to be reflected in the design documents
Assist the design team by researching products and systems that accomplish the design intent
Establish requirements and schedules of the public agency review process and procure all documentation available regarding applicable Planning, Zoning and Government Agencies
Coordinate with the Project Manager to develop a preliminary key schedule for initiation and completion of the Architectural/Engineering working drawings
Review and process all shop drawing/sample submissions and consult with the Senior Project Architect and Project Manager to ensure that the design intent is being maintained
Prepare and issue responses to contractor’s request for information
Prepare and issue bulletin and change order documentation
Participate in job site meetings and construction observation activities as required
Participate in the punch list process
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, from an accredited program, or an associate’s degree in architectural drafting and technology with experience
Possess a strong understanding of design and documentation principals, professional practice and standards
Have a thorough knowledge of architectural detailing and construction methodology
Ability to review and coordinate engineering documentation and the work
of other consultant disciplines to assess compliance with the design
Ability to understand and interpret conceptual sketches and translate them
into construction documents maintaining the design intent
Proficient with REVIT software
Knowledge of AutoCAD and photo-shop
Demonstrated literacy with Word and Excel
Possess an understanding of materials and systems
Have a working knowledge of building codes and the Americans with
Possess excellent verbal, written, and graphic communication skills
Have good organizational skills and an ability to multi-task and meet
An intern on a path to architectural registration would be considered

We are currently seeking a structural engineer capable of generating construction documents meeting all applicable codes for the installation and repair of the building envelope including roofs, fenestrations, exterior walls, and waterproofing. Candidates should be capable of managing clients’ needs on a daily basis to ensure client satisfaction.
• Degree in engineering and professional engineering license in Minnesota
• 5+ years of experience in structural engineering
• Strong understanding and knowledge of building codes, building construction, and building envelope systems
• High level of creative thinking and problem solving
• Strong CAD design skills
• Excellent client relationship management skills
