Mechanical Construction Project Manager. Preference with mechanical construction industry experience.

If the above have no ammonia industrial experience, that is OK, HVAC and/or light or commercial R (refrigeration) background works too. We can teach industrial ammonia refrigeration.

Several areas of need related to precision CNC machining. One in particular is a hybrid role that would combine design, DFM, internal fixture/jig design, and low volume prototype machining. They also have other areas you could grow your skills set if desired, examples could be quality department or quoting. They have SolidWorks, Fusion 360, and Feature CAM. Shop machines include Haas, Okuma, DMG, and Mori Seiki mills and lathes (5 axis vertical and 4 axis horizontal). They use CribMaster for the tool crib, and Job BOSS for the MRP/shop mgmt.

Registered Architect for commercial, education, multi-family, and hotels. Over see projects, meet with clients, building and codes. Currently two Registered Architects on staff. One retiring soon. Would work out of brand new Sioux Falls office. Would consider architect with Masters aspiring to Registration. If younger, would want to have design capabilities. Open to signing bonus. Prefer someone with South Dakota ties who isn’t going to leave in 2 years.

The Project Manager is responsible for successfully completing projects in accordance with established budget, quality, and schedule goals. The person serves as the principal decision maker and must coordinate between all stakeholders on the project, both internally and externally.

Project Managers must have a thorough understanding of both the manufacturing and construction processes with the ability to work on multiple tasks concurrently. Project Managers must possess well-developed interpersonal skills, as the ability to deal with a wide variety of personalities in multiple roles is critical. A thorough understanding of General Business practice, Building Codes, and Engineering Principles is equally as important.

Primary Responsibilities:

Project Planning

Develop and maintain project plan based on stakeholder requirements, site schedules, and budget
Coordinate with project team to determine potential value engineering opportunities for each project
Provide strategic direction to project team to mitigate risk and maximize potential profit
Generate detailed bid packages for vendors and award subcontracts to qualified vendors
Oversees integration of all project changes
Project Execution

Monitor progress against plan, schedule, budget, and performance standards of all parties, initiating necessary actions or controls as applicable
Seek opportunities to maximize value add to each project by developing and building customer relationships
Responsible for all quality control measures throughout fabrication and installation phases of project
Oversees all installation activities
Maintain a high standard of communication with project stakeholders, ensuring customer satisfaction
Project Evaluation

Generate and publish detailed project costing analysis to conduct monthly project review with leadership team
Complete all specified closeout requirements to ensure prompt release of final payment

Required Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or closely related degree
Three years of experience working in commercial construction
Ability to travel up to 25% within North America

Architectural Drafter/Designer- Growing Architectural firm in search of an Architectural Drafter/Designer with knowledge of how buildings are assembled and integrated. Projects include: Higher Education, K-12, K-21 Special Ed., Corporate, Corporate/Industrial, hospitality and Transit. Most of our projects are unique/boutique projects.

Nominal responsibilities• Space Planning of simple and/or small spaces• Design and Planning of simple structures• Layout of floor plan drawings, elevations and sections from preliminaries• Layout of Systems Furnishings using nominal and actual dimensions• Completion of given tasks in a timely manner• Communication of completion of tasks to supervisor and peers• AutoCAD/Revit drafting of pre-drawn or sketched information• Field verification of as-built conditions• Translation of field notes into CAD drawings• Clerical Tasks such as maintaining technical and job binders and files• Basic product research and recommendation Advanced responsibilities• Expected to learn fast and become productive within three to six months of hiring•

Limited Client/User contact and dialog
Qualifications:• Working knowledge of Windows and/or Macintosh operating systems• Working Knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD(A Plus), Adobe CS, Microsoft Office Suite; Sketchup required. General organizational skills and time management skills• Working understanding of IBC and State Building Code, including accessibility requirements• Hand sketching, Hand Rendering and Hand Drafting skills along with basic model building skills Knowledge of Design and Architectural History
