Senior-Level Electrical Hardware Engineer

The ideal candidate must possess the following knowledge and understanding:• UL 508A control panel hardware design• Knowledge and ability to define and select proper components for bill of materials (BOM)• Strong understanding of electrical schematics and CAD engineering support• Ability to understand key technical and process information from customers and peers• The ability to generate estimates, quotes, schematics and BOM per PM/engineering requests, specification and request for quotations• Understanding of related electrical codes and standards, including UL508A, UL698A, NFPA 70, NFPA 79, NFPA 70E, ISO 13849Responsibilities• Quote estimation, quoting process standardization, estimating tool support and development• Create BOMs, schematics, layouts, guide end-process design concept, and provide guidance to designers and drafters• Support project kickoff, design reviewsPosition Requirements • Required: Minimum Associate’s Degree or equivalent job-related experience in the hardware design of UL 508A control panels, hardware process design, and industrial equipment design, estimating• A successful candidate will have greater than 4 years of proven experience in related field and successful demonstration of key responsibilities and knowledge• Desired: Bachelor’s Degree in a technical engineering-related field• Electrician license a plus• CAD design experience a plus

Seeking drafting with experience detailing structural and misc. metals with AutoCAD and/or SDS2. Will consider light level candidates that have some structural experience but need to be trained in steel detailing.

Machine Assembler II or III (Depending on Experience & Skills)
Job Summary:Under the supervision of the Production Supervisor, this position assembles and tests completed machines and other products in the shop. This position also travels to client sites for installation, final assembly, start-up and trouble-shooting of products or machines. (Full descriptions available on request)

Operates all shop machines / tools such as; band saw, cut-off machine, drill presses and hand toolsReads and interprets engineering production printsAssembles and builds all automated machinery productsCompletes welding tasks using TIG & MIGModifies and adjusts equipment while working closely with engineeringHas knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics and the ability to plumbRead electrical schematics and assemble electrical panels, ability to use a volt meter (AC/DC and 3 Phase)Set-up and conduct tests of equipment before shipping and on-sitePerforms general maintenance on production tools and equipmentCompletes necessary paperwork and utilizes ERP system

Mid/Senior level roles also include:Diagnoses customer problems with previously installed systems via telephone and on-site visitsUses computer software e.g.: Allen Bradley, Panel View and Programmable Control Skills to program machineTrouble-shoots overall machine operations at customer and home facility, including: • Making minor and major changes to Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) codes • Reconnecting internal machine utilities i.e. electrical, air, hydraulic hoses, etc. disassembled for shipping• Pneumatics
Leads and instructs the work of employees in lower levels


You’re an experienced designer who wants to develop conceptual CAD layouts and CAD working drawings of major components of mobile equipment or other types of heavy industry equipment.

Associates in CAD design from an accredited institution
Must have 10+ years hands-on and in-depth design experience with major components of mobile equipment and or heavy industrial equipment.

Must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience using Inventor or Solidworks, for the development of working drawings for assemblies, fabrications, sub-weldments, machined parts, hydraulic / electrical / schematics.
Must have been working continuously with one CAD system for two years
Must be familiar with weldment drawing creation including weld callouts, sizing, etc.
Must have experience working with either top down or bottom up assembly creation
Must have familiarity of sheetmetal functionality as well as proper drawing structure hierarchy
Must have some “hands on” experiences in a manufacturing setting
Must exhibit boundaryless behavior and “get it done” attitude
Must be a self-starter and have the ability to work independently
Must be computer literate using Word processing and Excel spreadsheets, as a minimum requirement.
Must be able to communicate effectively with peers, technical supervision or to upper management

Experience using Pro-E/Creo, NX/Unigraphics, or Solid Edge a plus
GD&T Experience (ASME Y14.5) a plus
Experience working within a PDM system a plus
Knowledge of heavy steel structures and mobile equipment a plus
Candidate possesses the ability to recommend proper manufacturing methodologies to create the most cost-effective and efficient approach of fabrication
Knowledge of routed hydraulic or electrical systems
Knowledge of PID, process diagrams, or piping routing
Administration of CAD programs
Proven experience of measurements of existing equipment and translation to CAD models
