Responsibilities

  • Designs and specifies project appropriate engineering requirements
  • Performs Revit modeling and detailing
  • Assists to conduct site investigations and observations
  • Assists to prepare narratives, reports, hand and computer calculations, drawing and specification documents in accordance with a high degree of quality, yet with regard to project schedule and budget constraints
  • Assists to perform cross-discipline discussions and coordination
  • May assist with performing construction contract administration, and assist with marketing/business development activities
  • Assists to advance technical knowledge by supporting projects in new technical areas
  • May attend client and internal meeting

Qualifications

  • 4 years of experience
  • ABET-accredited degree in Engineering or Architectural Engineering
  • Strong interest to pursue licensure as a professional engineer preferred

General Characteristics

  • Beginners knowledge of codes and related industry standards
  • Knowledge and proficiency using industry standard software calculation packages preferred
  • Knowledge and proficiency with industry standard computer software is a plus
  • Strong graphic, verbal, and written communication skills

Electrical Engineer, PE

Responsibilities

  • Designs and specifies project appropriate engineering requirements
  • Conducts site investigations and observations
  • Prepares narratives, reports, calculations, drawing and specification documents in accordance with a high degree of quality, yet with regard to project schedule and budget constraints
  • Performs cross-discipline discussions and coordination
  • Participates in Construction Administration by reviewing shop drawings and submittals, responding to RFI’s, solving construction issues, and performing site visits to assess general conformance with the design concept
  • Assists to direct the work of designers
  • Assists to mentor and encourage the development of junior professionals and designers
  • Attends client meetings and communicates with clients, consultants, contractors, and others during various stages of project development.

Qualifications

  • PE (4-9 years total experience)
  • ABET-accredited degree in Engineering or Architectural Engineering
  • Strong interest to pursue licensure as a professional engineer preferred

 General Characteristics

  • Demonstrated practical knowledge of codes and related industry standards
  • Production experience preparing deliverable drawing sets in Revit and AutoCAD required
  • Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency using industry standard calculation software preferred
  • Ability to perform design responsibilities including sizing, layout, and coordination
  • Self-motivated team player with strong interpersonal, communication, writing, and presentation skills
  • Ability to deal with competing priorities and manage time appropriately.

 

Engineering Department Manager

Steel Fabrication Company in search of an experienced Engineering(Civil/Structural) Department Manager to join the team.

 Duties:

 Supervise eight to nine person Engineering department which is responsible for producing structural steel, miscellaneous metals and rebar fabrication shop drawings. Currently using SDS2, RebarCAD and AutoCAD Software.

Monitoring all jobs and workflow through the department to meet customer’s needs. Work with subcontracted detailers to handle overflow work.

Communicate with customers and production department.

Review and interpret contract drawings and specifications as well as shop drawings. Report directly to Vice President.

Other duties as assigned.

 

 

Summary:

Candidates should have 5 years’ experience in designing and programming control systems for automated equipment. An associated degree in the field of employment is desired. They will also be required to take projects from concept to install.

Responsibilities:

*Willing to travel an average of 25%, mostly domestic and possible future international.

*Design and programmed the equipment to company and customer build specifications using standard procedures.

Site Project Engineer
