Grinding Cell Support Technician
Hours: 6am to 2:30pm Monday-Friday$18.50 – $21/hour Contract to hire
Objective: To support the Machine Shop by preparing, observing, evaluating, and communicating the results of grinding cell sample parts and by managing containment of nonconforming material. To support the Inspection Department by performing inspection of incoming material, sorting, and assisting with inspection method improvements.
Qualifications: • High School education or equivalent.• At least 3 years of related experience in a Machine Shop support role.• Basic understanding of SPC data including Gage R&R, Run Charts, and PPAP data.• Strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting and problem solving skills.• Ability to interpret mechanical drawings.• Skilled in the use of basic mechanical inspection tools.• General understanding of basic Lean Manufacturing principles.• Ability to work well and communicate with others.

We have our own design team and shop where we design and build all of our products using color printers and CNC machines.

Responsibilities

Distribute and post company issued drawings.
Prepare transmittals for all hard copies of drawings and documentation of projects.
Create and maintain updated issued drawing logs for both internal and client use.
Create and maintain current stick set and work with internal team to maintain and keep current.
Process incoming RFI’s, Drawing Submittals, and change requests – distribute to internal team, follow-up, document and respond to appropriate external parties.
Attend internal meetings during the design phase and bring documentation updates.
Assemble and format project specifications.
Project “Share site” maintenance.
Collect and organize project construction phase document submittals from contractors for review.
Collect and organize existing building/facility drawing information.
Create and maintain project specific procedures for PC Department use
Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or GED
1 year of related experience and / or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
Knowledge of Construction Industry – a plus.

General Maintenance Associate

Position Objective: To consistently maintain the building and grounds in a clean and attractive manner and perform minor maintenance and repair work as assigned. To provide assistance to the Maintenance Technician as needed.
Qualifications:• High School Diploma or GED.• At least 1 year of related janitorial/general maintenance experience.• Ability to handle any immediate cleanup that may not be able to wait for the contract cleaning service.• Ability to perform minor replacement work (i.e.: changing light bulbs, replacing air conditioning filters, etc.).• Able to wash windows, shovel snow, etc. as needed to properly maintain the building and grounds.• Ability to assist with equipment moves in the machine shop, assembly area, and office as needed.• Ability to support the Maintenance Technician to perform tasks as needed.• Experience in mechanical repair (Mechanical aptitude) is strongly preferred.• Ability to effectively use building maintenance equipment (e.g., floor sweeper, buffing machine, forklift, etc.).• Ability to mig and tig weld is desirable.• Ability to perform small construction projects or repairs.

Looking for hard working, dedicated candidates to fill positions at a growing Metal Manufacturing Company.

Worker will have the opportunity to be trained in on various positions in the production process including machine operating(Punch Press, Hydraulic Press, Assembly, Packaging).

Production experience a plus, but not a must.

This is a Contract-to-Hire position. Looking for long-term employees. (3-6 months on contract, then hired on permanent)

2nd Shift (2:15pm — 12:45am, M-Th, 4 – 10hr days per week)

$17.00 to $19.00 per hour.

Will train (1st week = training)
Will accept all skill levels
Must be able to manipulate parts up to 50-75lbs
Must be able to read and write English, be mechanically inclined, follow instructions.
Must wear steel-toed shoes/boots and safety glasses.(Glasses provided by Company)
