2nd shift Senior Inspector
2:25pm to 10:55pm Monday-Friday
Objective: To inspect and test a wide variety of purchased and manufactured parts to ensure compliance with pre-established customer specifications and quality standards. To create and maintain programs for all programmable inspection equipment, including but not limited to CMM, Vision Measurement System, and Surface Profiler.
Qualifications:• High school education or equivalent, plus at least 2 years of appropriate technical training including geometric dimensioning and tolerancing and shop math through trigonometry.• At least 5 years of related mechanical inspection and testing experience in a close tolerance manufacturing environment.• At least 2 years programming and setup of programmable measurement equipment (i.e. CMM, Surface Profiler, Vision Measurement System).•
Experience with close tolerances and precise measurements.• Strong knowledge of and experience with small tool mechanical measurements, CMM measurements, surface plate measurements, optical comparator testing, sampling methods and statistical techniques.• Ability to work from blueprints, inspection specifications, and written/verbal instructions.• Ability to use precision measuring instruments and make standard inspection set-ups.• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.• Displays a positive attitude and a strong desire to learn and grow.
Summary The Estimator is responsible for accurately calculating the total costs associated with a project or the development of a new product, taking into consideration all relevant factors in the plan such as materials, labor and equipment. The Estimator demonstrates a commitment to the PD core values of integrity, passion, possibility and the ability to work at the speed of retail.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities • Analyze documentation to prepare time, cost, materials and labor estimates.• Assess cost effectiveness of products, projects or services, tracking actual costs relative to bids as the project develops.• Consult with clients, vendors, sales and other departments to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve.• Confer with sales, owners and clients on changes and adjustments to cost estimates.• Prepare estimates used by management for purposes such as planning, organizing and scheduling work.• Prepare estimates for use in selecting vendors.• Review material and labor requirements to decide whether it is more cost-effective to produce or purchase components.• Prepare cost and expenditure statements and other necessary documentation at regular intervals for the duration of the project.• Prepare and maintain a directory of suppliers and contractors.• Follows all safety and workplace policies• Other duties as assigned
Competencies• Must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of employees as well as clients in a professional manner. • Proficient with computers and have skills in programming. Familiarity with cost estimation software.• Strong mathematical skills add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percentage. • Ability to analyze, compare, and interpret detailed information.• Ability to make sound and accurate judgments. • Excellent prioritization skills.• Proven experience in the ability to focus on details, while analyzing and managing larger obstacles.
Minimum Education/Certification• High School Diploma or GED.• Prefer 2 year technical/business degree or equivalent
Minimum Experience• 5 years of experience in estimating permanent fixtures• Experience using Microsoft Office Products and Mac computers
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions• Walking, sitting, bending, twisting, reaching, pushing, pulling and lifting may be required throughout the course of the work day.• Flexibility to travel between multiple PD locationsAlso need an Installation Coordinator.

Create NCM’s, Investigate cause, enter cost of rework.• Maintain tool calibration system. • Process customer returns (Return Material Authorization process).• Perform quality assurance / product inspections.
Qualities / Skills this applicants should have:
• Experience using a desktop computer. Microsoft Word and Excel experience would be helpful.• Strong communication skills. This position communicates internally, with vendors, and customers.• Ability to work independently and carry out responsibilities and tasks as assigned.• Good problem solving skills. Qualified applicants must be able to investigate problems, suggest possible causes, and ideas for resolving the problem. • Ability to work as part of a group to resolve issues and make improvements.
Sample Procurement Specialist- Responsible for locating samples in warehouse, communication, and figuring out best way to ship samples to customers. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and be organized.
Entry Level Civil/Transportation Engineer-
Qualified candidates must be detail-oriented, and able to follow instructions and complete assigned tasks on time with minimal supervision.The candidate should have strong communication and technical writing skills, and relevant hands-on experience. Depending on the job performance, this position will have the opportunity to take on important roles within the company in a year or two.
The primary duties include but are not limited to:
Collecting traffic turning movement data and approach delays at roadway intersections Conducting speed sampling and travel time runs for traffic studies Maintaining data collection equipment Processing and analyzing traffic data Conducting detailed traffic analysis, including traffic forecasting, congestion analysis, and crash studies Conducting benefit-cost analysis between the base condition and alternative design scenarios Creating data reports and/or ArcGIS maps as needed to support projects Assisting in developing basic tools to streamline the data analysis processes Adherence to quality assurance standards Preparation of project technical reports Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications Recent graduate or currently in pursuit of a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, or Urban and Regional Planning from an accredited university Knowledge of traffic survey and traffic data collection process Familiarity with ArcGIS software Demonstrated proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation) Ability to learn processes, procedures and software independently with speed and depth Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship for employment visa status Must have a proper driver’s license and auto insurance coverage for driving a passenger vehicle
Preferred Qualifications Current overall cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent) 2-3 years of professional work experience in traffic surveys, traffic engineering, and/or transportation planning studies Experience with data collection equipment and software, such as Jamar’s TDC Ultra for intersection data collection and PC-Travel for travel time runs Experience and ArcGIS software Applicable internship or co-op experience and/or work experience
