Technical Sales Specialist
Skills/Ability:
- Demonstrate effective communication skills, both written and oral.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Learn and understand company product line (industrial packaging and conveying equipment) to correctly quote and sell the appropriate equipment for a customer’s application.
- Quote and sell conveyor parts. Assist with conveyor service inquiries.
- AutoCAD experience recommended but not required.
- Keep a professional and positive attitude with both customers and fellow employees.
- Achieve annual goals set by sales manager.
- Be at your desk to take sales calls.
- Return quotes over the telephone or e-mail in a timely manner of receiving inquiry.
- Record quotes in the quote log.
- Enter purchase orders within 24 hours of receiving an order.
- Price and enter orders correctly.
- Follow up on outstanding machine quotes on a monthly basis and update quote log.
- Follow up on outstanding & overdue part & machine orders for customer.
- Work with regional sales contact or distributor.
- Be willing to travel occasionally (sales trips, trade shows) as required.
Education:
High school diploma required.
Licensure:
Maintain a valid driver’s license.
Fire Protection Engineer
Responsibilities
- Establishes, designs, and specifies project-appropriate engineering requirements
- Leads the execution of site investigations and observations
- Prepares narratives, reports, calculations, drawing and specification documents in accordance with a high degree of quality, yet with regard to project schedule and budget constraints
- Performs cross-discipline discussions and coordination
- Assists with reviews of engineering documents for quality and compliance with code and program requirements
- Participates in Construction Administration by reviewing shop drawings and submittals, responding to RFI’s, solving construction issues, and performing site visits to assess general conformance with the design concept
- Plans and directs the work of EITs and designers
- Mentors and encourages the development of junior professionals and designers
- Independently attends client meetings and communicates with clients, consultants, contractors, and others during various stages of project development
- Assists with marketing and business development activities including building relationship with key clients and strategic partners, proposal writing, fee estimates, and client interviews

Qualifications
- 4 + years licensed experience
- ABET- accredited degree in Engineering or Architectural Engineering
- Registered Professional Engineer required

Responsibilities

- Sets up and manages complex Revit models
- Performs Revit modeling and detailing
- Participate in BIM best practice standards development
- Conducts site investigation and observations
- Performs cross-discipline discussions and coordination of work for system clash avoidance
- Participates with performing construction contract administration. Responsibilities could include: Review of shop drawings and submittals, responding to RFI’s, solving construction issues, performing site visits to assess general conformance with design concept, incorporating agreed upon changes to contract documents

- Attends client meetings and communicates with clients, consultants, contractors, and others during various stages of project development

Qualifications

Description
- Participate as a STRUCTURAL MODELER in a variety of large and small whole building and building component projects that range across most market sectors, building occupancies, and material types throughout the US. You will lead and/or assist project teams to produce structural contract documents using Revit Structure from project conception through design and construction that effectively communicates the design intent.
- Maintain quality control of model content as model develops through various design phases; incorporating and coordinating design information into plans, details, and schedules.
- Adhere to company drafting/modeling standards and communicate them to the project team.
- Perform quality assurance review of project construction documents to confirm compliance with graphic standards.
- Manage interaction of multiple modelers or detailers in a single project model. Mentor junior modelers.
- Proactively identify and communicate critical information to the project team and clients.
- Be accountable for the integrity of the BIM information provided to the engineering team, consultants, and/or clients.
Required Qualifications
- Academics: Certificate in Revit training from a recognized 2-year junior college or technical institute.
- Experience: 5+ years in the A/E industry and minimum 5 years using Revit; Proficiency with the latest version of Revit.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with creating custom families, model components, and detail components.
- Experience with interoperability between Revit and other analysis software.
- Experience with Tekla Structures.
- A bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, or related field is a plus.
