Seeking candidate to fill a CNC Mill Machinist position.

 ($24.00 – $27.00/hour)

2nd shift: ( 3pm-1:30 am, Mon-Thurs) Up to 8 hours mandatory OT.

Will train for the first few weeks on 1st shift (5:00 am-3:30 pm)

(Contract assignment with potential for direct hire)

Primary Objective: Perform machining operations in accordance with the company’s Machine Shop procedures and work instructions. Utilize documentation and skills to provide parts and assemblies to internal and external customers that meet quality and schedule requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Two year certification from college or trade school with previous experience or four years applicable experience in a machine shop environment.
  • Must understand and apply advanced machining knowledge.
  • Machining tolerances and measuring equipment, tooling selection, machine setup and operation. Common machining symbols on prints.
  • Understanding of material characteristics and proper machining techniques.
  • Ability to read and understand CNC G-code and M-code for CNC operators or ability to run multiple manual machines
  • Preferred experience running: Doosan/Hurco/Matsura MAM/Makino-Horizontal

Major Areas of Accountability:

  1. Performs machining operations on a variety of parts and is fully competent in the following areas:
  • Accept responsibility for completing required operations in an efficient manner.
  • Take initiative and make decisions to meet the customers’ expectations.
  • Perform set-ups in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Perform normal preventative maintenance as required or apparent.
  • Maintain a clean and well-organized work area; work in conjunction with both shifts to do so.
  1. Demonstrate an understanding of / ability to:
  • Machining prints and meet print requirements.
  • Machine Shop routing system.
  • Inspect and verify dimensions to required accuracy.
  1. Perform machining operations in the following manner:
  • Provide constructive feedback to area supervisor on quality issues, trends and workload. Exhibit willingness to help resolve issues regarding schedules and priorities.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and willingness to work overtime and to meet demands of other work stations.
  • Interact and communicate effectively with all colleagues, including supervisors. Display ability to work as a part of team.
  • Operate and maintain equipment in a safe manner. Identify safety hazards and involve appropriate parties to resolve.
  • Initiate creative and/or innovative ideas and shows willingness to implement them.
  1. Performs other duties as assigned or apparent.

Pilot Plant Technician / Production Operator ($22-28 hr)

The Pilot Plant Technician is responsible for Pilot Plant runs which includes equipment setup, maintenance, operation, and housekeeping duties. This position requires attention to detail, neatness, and conformance to policies and procedures. In addition, the position requires conducting routine preventive maintenance and emergency maintenance of Pilot Plant equipment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
-Conduct Pilot Plant runs which includes equipment setup, maintenance, operation, and
housekeeping duties.
-Run the plant using a PLC and radio communication.
-Assemble small equipment for external customers
-Conduct routine maintenance of Pilot Plant equipment; order necessary parts and supplies;
document repair or maintenance in log.
-Maintain a Special Engineer Boiler License.
-Assist with technical, field assistance, and/or training for customers in maintenance, installation, operation, and startup of all processes; assist with preparation of customer reports after each run.
-Adhere to safety policies and procedures of Company and OSHA.

QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS
-Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school or in lieu of degree, a minimum of two years related experience.
-Shift work (afternoons or nights) and flexible hours.
-Plant environment – exposure to chemicals, hazardous materials, and noise.
-Required to work at heights, confined spaces, and in inclement weather conditions.
-Required to “troubleshoot” mechanical and chemical processes.
-Special Engineer Boiler License a plus.
-Forklift Certification a plus.
-Welding and/or machinery operation background.
-Strong computer and Microsoft office skills.

Industrial Painter (Sign on Bonus)

We are looking for a entry level or experienced industrial painter with a background in automotive or industrial painting.

This position is Monday – Thursday 6-430PM with Friday optional OT.

Direct Hire NO Contract with a $500 Dollar Sign On Bonus paid in full after 60 days of employment.

Background in Sandblasting, Automotive Painting, or Powder Coating is preferred.
