JO – 3721 Electro-Mechanical Technician
We are seeking an experienced Electro-Mechanical Technician to provide 1st shift, 8 hours plus on-site support of our “Lean” diesel engine production facility in Fridley, Minnesota.
You will be working on facility and production equipment providing skilled mechanical and electrical/electronic support: including maintaining, testing, repairing electrical/electronic devices, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems and components. You will be expected to troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and restore equipment to production, to include programmable controls, power supplies, VFD’s, gauges, and test equipment. You will be participating on team developed plant wide improvements using “Lean” techniques and tactics.
1 Equipment maintenance:
A) Provide the highest level of troubleshooting and repair of electrical, mechanical and hydraulic systems. B) Modify and upgrade equipment as required and authorized. C) Perform preventative maintenance tasks. D) Provide continuous improvement to equipment systems. E) Strong electrical/electronic troubleshooting. F) Ability to produce detailed schematics.
2 Facility maintenance: A) Perform repairs to facilities interior/exterior systems. B) Maintain and troubleshoot HVAC systems. C) Provide continuous improvements to equipment. D) Plumbing and pipe fitting skills. E) Brazing and sweating copper. F) Emergency janitorial services
3 Technician must: A) Work and communicate well with co-workers and leadership. B) Must have computer skills C) Provide input to the team and strive to improve all areas of Reviva. D) Work well with diverse teams. E) Maintain perfect attendance. F) Support Reviva’s “Lean” events. G) Be a self directed and motivated individual with good decision making skills. (H) Have good fabrication skills. (I) Able to lift 75 lbs. (J) On your feet for 8+ hours. (K) Push/Pull heavy objects or carts.
4 Education: A) Certificate or degree in related field from a college or technical school with a minimum of 2 years experience or at least ten years on the job experience.
