Position: CONCRETE RESTORATION ENGINEER – Full-time employee
Office Location: Minneapolis, Minnesota
Our firm is seeking an engineer to assist with structural condition assessment
documentation and restoration project work related to concrete structures. The position is full-time
with salary and benefits commensurate with experience level and qualifications.
Minimum Qualifications
• B.S. or M.S. in Civil Engineering with structural or materials science emphasis
• Industry experience preferred but not required
• Experience or interest with site observation, structural condition assessments, forensic engineering,
non-destructive evaluation methods, failure mechanisms and/or concrete restoration preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Team player and proven positive attitude when working with both internal and external colleagues,
clients, and contractors

• Manages project tasks for a coordinated effort to meet project schedules and budgets
• Ability to work independently on multiple, variable duration projects
• Effectively utilizes team members for the successful completion of projects
• Curiosity and attention to detail for competent and thorough investigation work

• Effective communication skills with project team, clients, and contractors
• Physically capable of and willing to access investigation areas in variety of environments
• 8-16 hours per week, local on-site field observation/assessment in all seasons and weather
• Document site observation through written condition assessment reports
• Use of structural analysis software including RAM, RISA 3D, ADAPT and others
• Applies the firm’s methodology and enforces project standards and quality assurance procedures
• Creates and executes project work plans and revises plans to meet changing requirements
• Identifies and utilizes all available resources to move multiple projects towards completion
• Manages all aspects of a project including client requests and day-to-day client interaction
