Job Title: Sales Support / Account Management

Broad Scope and Function of Job: We are looking for someone to fill a Sales Support / Account Manager position.  This position is responsible for working directly with our outside sales force, customers and designers to provide solutions to our customers’ needs from first request all the way through to shipping.  You will be tasked with providing prompt assistance to customers and vendors. You will work in a team with internal personnel, as well as a remote sales staff. You will acquire product knowledge and assist customers with the proper  product solution for each customer’s individual needs. You will manage specific accounts covering defined territories. You will develop positive relationships with your sales team and your account base.
Responsibilities-      Establish a collaborative environment that leads to the identification of improved packaging opportunities, the discovery of        customer’s issues, and the development of new solutions-      Primary accountability for the client relationship within the accounts, managing projects within these accounts –      Maintaining customer and distributor relations, building brand loyalty among consumer base-      Cooperating with sales team internally and externally to determine essential strategic approaches for sales-      Coordinate with internal operations to meet and exceed client expectations on each project

Candidate Expectations- Candidate will provide timely communication with all internal and external customers and sales staff- Through training, develop knowledge of static protection principles and how they apply to packaging designs- Through training, develop knowledge of our companies stock product line, capabilities, and marketing tools- Conducts oneself with professional courtesy with all staff and customers- Functions as a positive team member and helps achieve their job goals- Manage the sales opportunity to get the best possible solution.  Take ownership of project details and deadlines while keeping all stakeholders updated with project status.  Communicate with customers to identify and define requirements, scope and objectives.   Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives- Workup cost estimates and set sell prices- Work closely with other departments to keep projects on track- Work proactively with appropriate colleagues to prevent or quickly resolve customer issues- Organize and reprioritize workflow to meet customer timeframes- Operate as the lead point of contact for technical matters specific to your customers- Develop a trusted advisor relationship with key accounts – Identify and grow opportunities within territory and collaborate with sales teams to ensure growth attainment- Assist with high severity requests or issue escalations as needed

Requirements & Qualifications – Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred- Strong, creative problem-solving techniques required- Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence effectively at all levels of the organization, including executives, procurement, engineers and production- Ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail- Willingness and ability to learn quickly and constantly- Proficiency in MS Office suite- Project a professional image and represent the company well inside and outside of the company- Ability to build rapport and trust with customers primarily by phone and email- Must be a team player with a positive attitude who is solution oriented- Solid organizational skills, including multitasking and time-management- Strong sense of urgency and must be able to provide a high level of accuracy in a timely manner- Possess the flexibility necessary to tackle new and challenging tasks in a demanding, fast paced technical environment- Maintain a process of continuous improvement in all practices and procedures
