The Project Manager is responsible for successfully completing projects in accordance with established budget, quality, and schedule goals. The person serves as the principal decision maker and must coordinate between all stakeholders on the project, both internally and externally.

Project Managers must have a thorough understanding of both the manufacturing and construction processes with the ability to work on multiple tasks concurrently. Project Managers must possess well-developed interpersonal skills, as the ability to deal with a wide variety of personalities in multiple roles is critical. A thorough understanding of General Business practice, Building Codes, and Engineering Principles is equally as important.

Primary Responsibilities:

Project Planning

Develop and maintain project plan based on stakeholder requirements, site schedules, and budget
Coordinate with project team to determine potential value engineering opportunities for each project
Provide strategic direction to project team to mitigate risk and maximize potential profit
Generate detailed bid packages for vendors and award subcontracts to qualified vendors
Oversees integration of all project changes
Project Execution

Monitor progress against plan, schedule, budget, and performance standards of all parties, initiating necessary actions or controls as applicable
Seek opportunities to maximize value add to each project by developing and building customer relationships
Responsible for all quality control measures throughout fabrication and installation phases of project
Oversees all installation activities
Maintain a high standard of communication with project stakeholders, ensuring customer satisfaction
Project Evaluation

Generate and publish detailed project costing analysis to conduct monthly project review with leadership team
Complete all specified closeout requirements to ensure prompt release of final payment

Required Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or closely related degree
Three years of experience working in commercial construction
Ability to travel up to 25% within North America
Preferred

Experience in estimating
Experience in the glazing industry or misc. metals
