Sales Representative
Reports to: Sales Manager
Job Overview
To manage and grow business by identifying and developing new customers. Will also be responsible for maximizing the value within customers and developing business relationships with customers and prospects. Success is achieved by developing and applying excellent sales and customer service skills to the and delivering long-term incremental business growth consistent with the Company’s goals and objectives.

Responsibilities and Duties:
General Sales – 40% or approximately 3 hours a day• Follow proven sales strategies and maintain high productivity levels.• Determine key variables for cost and other estimates.• Proficiency in running sales reports and pulling data to support sales activities.

New Customer Sales – 40% or approximately 3 hours a day• Aggressively prospect for new business, conduct research, and develop prospect lists.• Introduce the company through various channels and speak confidently on our capabilities.• Maintain thorough contact records and follow-up on sales opportunities.• Develop thorough understanding of the customer and their business segment; as well as understanding industry trends and identify future needs.• Add regularly visit customers and/or prospects in person to enhance relationships.

Existing Customer Sales – 20% or approximately 2 hours a day• Continue the development of the existing client base, strengthening long-term relationships and developing opportunities for optimum margin of sales.• Maintain consistent communication and timely follow-up with customers to understand their evolving business needs and product demands; ensuring top 14 customers have been contacted once evert two weeks.

Qualifications:• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or equivalent, preferred.• Completion of sales training coursework, preferred.• 5+ years of increasing sales responsibility to customers.• Experience in a consultative sales approach to selling custom manufacturing service solutions and/or engineered products.• Strong orientation to delivering a highly professional experience for our customer.• ERP / MRP software, including CRM; Epicor 10, preferred.

Skills:
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office [Outlook, Excel, Word, and Power Point] computer skills.• Self-motivated; analytical data-driven decision-making capabilities with a commitment to quality and customer service.• Excellent verbal and grammatical writing skills.• Strong negotiation and analytical skills.• Excellent time management skills, strong ability to multi-task, and work numerous projects concurrently.• Solid works CAD software experience preferred.
