  • Interpret architectural/structural intent from contract documents
  • Understand how to handle discrepancies in contract documents
  • Modify drawings as red-marked by another team member
  • Know the budgeted time per sheet or per detail and keep track of own progress
  • Check own plot of drawings before giving them to the Team Leader or Project

Manager and mark in red anything that is in question

  • Give Team Leader updated drawings as they are done or revised
  • Draw elevations, plans and sections as directed by the Team Leader
  • Draw details as directed by the Team Leader
  • Dependable for accuracy and precision
  • Able to draw using good presentation practices
  • Able to follow basic seal lines and ensure system air/water integrity
  • Able to understand deadload/windload connections
  • Understand system movements due to thermal, live-load and dead-load
  • Learning detail build-ability and effects to customer costs
  • Read and understand shop drawings in order to draw fabrication drawings
  • Draw fabrication drawings as directed by the Team Leader
  • Input final tags on elevations while drawing individual fabrication drawings
  • All other tasks as assigned or as apparent
