J-2313 Purchasing Assistant for Residential Construciton
JOB DESCRIPTION: Act as a support for the Product Development team. The department oversees estimating, purchasing, interior design and drafting.
Main responsibilities include:
- Tracking and maintaining certificates of insurance for all vendors
- Issuing and tracking contract agreements
- Ability to analyze, manage, and generate contract and insurance compliance reports
- Assisting in procurement of bids
- Managing manufacturers rebate programs
- Support in Accounts Payable functions
- Gather and help present product samples from various vendors
- Other administrative duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Construction industry experience, new home building experience is preferred
- Proficient in Excel, Word, and Microsoft Office
- Basic insurance knowledge
- Highly detailed orientated and a self-starter
- Able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong written and verbal communications skills
