• Coordinate with surveyor and architect to receive and reference CAD (.DWG) files for the engineering plans• Coordinate with surveyor and architect to receive and reference CAD (.DWG) files for the engineering plans• Locate the project location (county) and set coordinate system for drawing and map services• Draw up extensive blueprints and construction plans (title sheet, grading plan, utility plan, site plan, etc.) for residential and commercial projects• Adept in layer management for CAD regarding different plan sheets and annotations• Use CIVIL 3D functions such as water drop, slope arrows, catchment areas, etc. to delineate existing or proposed surface drainage areas for watershed analysis• Extract contours from a surface (most of the times, a topo surface is provided by the Surveyor) to retrieve pond/basin areas for modeling• Assist engineer in retrieving standard details and specifications for the various cities in the Metro area in order to determine design options for each project• able to retrieve information from watershed websites regarding design rules• Download LIDAR (from MNTOPO) and create a surface in CAD for preliminary analysis or to paste to topo surface that does not contain sufficient analysis area• Use CIVIL 3D to create alignments, profiles, corridors, etc. for roadway design• Have experience with site plan layouts (setbacks, curbs, curb radius, etc.)• Can do earthwork quantities to provide net cut/fill report or color-coded grid exhibits• Adept in creating 3D surfaces to analyze cut/fill volumes within a certain elevation range (for projects within a floodplain)• Assist with generating landscape plans in accordance to city codes• Bonus: Have a good understanding of grading and utility design with regards to awareness of elevations for flow and cover underneath ground in order to determine possible spot elevations and reshaping of contours

Mechanical Technician – Machine Builder

Job Summary:

Seeking Mechanical Technician – Machine Builder candidates who specialize in assembly for. Looking for hardworking, team players who can build large automated pallet equipment that is engineered with innovative electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and PLC control components, representing state-of-the-art technology. The machine builder is a full time, temp-to-hire position that reports directly to the shop supervisor.

Responsibilities:

• Assemble electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic sub-assemblies, and PLC controls

• Assemble equipment from drawings, specifications, blue prints, and schematics

• Communicate to proper departments any changes or modifications that need to be made in order to properly assemble the equipment

• Identify and correct any problems during testing stage of equipment

• Test and inspect (to print specs) the product before shipment

• Other duties may be assigned

Required Qualifications:

• Two-year technical degree in Automation & Manufacturing Technology or related field preferred

• Experience with GE PLC programming and components are a plus

• Previous experience installing or troubleshooting mechanical or hydraulic systems preferred

• Regularly required to stand, kneel, crouch or crawl

• Must regularly be able to lift and move up to 50lbs

• Must pass background check, physical, and drug screen

Electrical Assembly

Seeking machine builders that specialize in electrical assembly for.  Looking for hardworking, team players who can build large automated pallet equipment and assemble complex electrical units for automated pallet machinery that is engineered with innovative electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and PLC control components, representing state of‐the‐art technology. The machine builder is a full time, temp‐to‐hire position that reports directly to the shop supervisor.

Must regularly be able to lift and move up to 30 lbs. Team lift all components between 30lbs and 60lbs that are being lifted below waist height. Any assembly/component over 30lbs that needs to be lifted above waist height and/or attached/fasten to a system must have lifting points designed into the part/assembly.

Position function is seeking an experienced Electro-Mechanical technician to provide 1st shift, 8 hours plus on-site support of our “Lean” diesel engine production facility in Fridley Minnesota.

Responsibilities: You will be working on facility and production equipment providing skilled mechanical and electrical/electronic support: including maintaining, testing, repairing electrical/electronic devices, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems and components. You will be expected to troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and restore equipment to production, to include programmable controls, power supplies, VFD’s, gauges, and test equipment. You will be participating on team developed plant wide improvements using “Lean” techniques and tactics.

1 Equipment maintenance: A) Provide the highest level of troubleshooting and repair of electrical, mechanical and hydraulic systems. B) Modify and upgrade equipment as required and authorized. C) Perform preventative maintenance tasks. D) Provide continuous improvement to equipment systems. E) Strong electrical/electronic trouble shooting. F) Ability to produce detailed schematics.

2 Facility maintenance: A) Perform repairs to facilities interior/exterior systems. B) Maintain and troubleshoot HVAC systems. C) Provide continuous improvements to equipment. D) Plumbing and pipe fitting skills. E) Brazing and sweating copper. F) Emergency janitorial services

3 Technician must: A) Work and communicate well with co-workers and leadership. B) Must have computer skills C) Provide input to the team and strive to improve all areas. D) Work well with diverse teams. E) Maintain perfect attendance. F) Support “Lean” events. G) Be a self directed and motivated individual with good decision making skills. 4 Education: A) Certificate or degree in related field from a college or technical school with a minimum of 2 years experience or at least ten years on the job experience.
