The experience we are looking for includes both 2D and 3D modeling with heavy emphasis on 3D modeling and BIM skills.

An ideal candidate would be familiar with 3D modelling of equipment and/or machinery and its associated layout within a building or enclosure.
The specific project for which we have this need is focused on the installation of Hydrogen production systems and sub-systems into standard ISO containers for the purposes of electrical power production.• Our target is for a 6 month arrangement, maybe more if things work out extremely well.• Experience creating complex BIM & MEP models is required.• Someone familiar with liquid cooling systems, compressed gas systems, and their related plumbing/piping is preferred.• Tools used internally at Cummins are AutoCAD, Inventor, Revit, and Creo/ProE.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Inspect and test wiring installations, assemblies, and circuits for operation; and record results.
• Assemble electrical systems and support structures; and install components, units, subassemblies, wiring, and assembly casings, using rivets, bolts, soldering and micro-welding equipment.
• Read and interpret schematic drawings, diagrams, blueprints, specifications, work orders, and reports in order to determine materials requirements and assembly instructions.
• Position, align, and adjust work-pieces and electrical parts to facilitate wiring and assembly.
• Pack finished assemblies for shipment and transport them to storage areas, using hoists or hand trucks.
• Confer with supervisors or engineers to plan and review work activities, and to resolve issues.
• Explain assembly procedures or techniques to other team members.

REQUIREMENTS:
• At least a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent is required
• A minimum of 12 months work experience with electrical or controls equipment
• Familiar with wiring PLC’s
• Familiar with wiring of 24VDC/220/480
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and assembly aids
• Ability to read Electrical Schematics & prints
• Ability to work with power tools/drilling and tapping holes
• Associates Degree in Electrical & Electronic Equipment Assembly or related field preferred, but not required

• Read Set up sheets and prints to determine set up and operating requirements.• Mount material in machine, manually or using overhead crane• Select tooling in sequence specified per set up• Review control panel and compare to prints to verify any deviations prior to machining• Verify completed parts are made to print• Must be able to multi task, and operate other machines during machine run time• Ability to work as team player
