Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in building casework, cabinets and furniture
- Experience with all woodworking tools
- Experience with plastic laminate, solid wood and veneer
- Ability to read detailed drawings
- Strong Problem solving skills

- Ability to work both independently and with others
- Have a good set of hand tools (power tools are provided)
- Be able to lift 80lbs
- Use industrial equipment to machine parts for fabrication
- Build Fixtures, Reception Desks, Conference Tables and high end Millwork
- Fabricate Countertops – Solid Surface experience is a plus
- Work as a leader on a team to meet quality standards and project deadlines

Opportunity Profile
We are seeking a driven, highly organized and extremely competent person to join our innovative, growing company as a Relationship Manager. This person would be responsible for sourcing, closing and managing the entire project execution of the sale of specialty architectural products to the commercial market. Day-to-day responsibilities would include extensive communication (via email and phone) with Architects, Designers and Contractors to specify, estimate, propose and fulfill sale opportunities into the products CSI manufactures. The prospective customers, projects, products and sales process is very well defined therefore success is achieved through discipline, rigorous execution and an unrelenting pursuit.
Qualified candidates will have:
- Bachelor’s degree from four-year College or university preferred, Associates degree and experience in a similar sales environment considered. Architectural or industry related sales experience is a plus.
- 2-3 years of previous sales experience in a business to business environment with a high degree of customer interaction.
- Self-started who is focused, articulate, well organized, and detail-oriented.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to write briefs, promote and explain ideas, and build relationships with clients High EQ with a strong business acumen that he or she will leverage to build relationships with current and future customers.
- Demonstrated thoroughness and attentiveness to detail.
- Strong math skills with the ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts and commissions.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- Ability to work with multiple deadlines, under pressure and at a fast pace.
- Proficiency in electronic communication and standard office suite of software.
- Demonstrated ability in both speed and efficiency on software tools.

Structural Modeler
Position Overview: MDS Staffing seeks a motivated structural modeler who is interested in growing a rewarding career. As a structural modeler you will be responsible for performing structural drafting and design services, including modifying existing and creating new structural design documents. You will review architectural documents and internal engineering information using Revit, and develop conceptual, preliminary, and construction-level drawings, making revisions as needed. Your role will include converting existing 2D structural drawings into 3D Revit models, following directed standards, and maintaining quality control and accountability for the integrity of the Revit model as the project progresses through each design phase. You will collaborate closely with the project team on diverse projects, often utilizing multiple technologies to meet client deadlines and expectations. Ensuring that all work completed adheres to company and client standards is a critical aspect of this position, contributing to the overall success of our projects.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree in Architectural/Structural Drafting.
- Excellent oral, written, and communication/presentation skills.
- 2+ years of Structural Revit Experience, AutoCAD knowledge is also preferred.
- Advanced analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Organized with the ability to work cross functionally.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.).
- Ability to pay close attention to detail, while working with a team to deliver high quality of work.
- Proficient with structural engineering software, such as Revit, Bluebeam, and AutoCAD.
Duties:
Take off estimates from Structural steel plans.
Qualifications:
Ability to read and interpret structural steel plans and reinforcing steel plans. Familiar with various takeoff software programs including Bluebeam and Fabsuite. 2 year degree in drafting and estimating technology or construction management. 2-4 years of steel or construction experience preferred.
Compensation:
$22-24/Hr. DOE
